Effective January 1, 2011, CALGreen requires construction waste management plans including more thorough documentation requirements, isolated jobsites, enhanced waste reduction thresholds, and 100% diversion of excavated soils and land clearing debris.Additionally, a growing number of jurisdictions require diverting construction and demolition (C&D) debris from landfill at a higher level than CALGreen. In some instances,75% landfill diversion is required. eco-Organize as accomplished a minimum of 80% landfill diversion on all its projects. In one instance, 99.2% landfill diversion was achieved.
